Terms of Use
Updated November 1, 2026
By using ohsudo.com (“OhSudo”, “we”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
1. What we offer
OhSudo publishes articles, cheat sheets and free tools that run in your browser for people who work in IT. Using the site is free and needs no account.
2. Using the content
- The articles, cheat sheets, images, design and code of the website are protected by copyright and belong to OhSudo, unless stated otherwise.
- You may read, print and share links to our pages freely.
- Code examples in our articles (commands, configuration files, SQL, scripts) may be copied and used in your own projects, including commercial ones, without asking us.
- You may quote short parts of an article with a link to the source. Copying whole articles or large parts of them, or republishing them elsewhere, requires our written permission.
3. Using the tools
- The tools run in your browser and are provided free of charge, as is.
- What they generate (for example a
docker-compose.yml, a cron expression or a SQL query) is yours to use as you wish. Review it before using it in production. - Don’t try to disrupt the website, its infrastructure or other users — for example with automated mass requests, scanning or attacks.
4. No warranty
We work hard to make everything correct, but technology changes quickly and every system is different. Everything on OhSudo is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is complete, current, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Always test commands and configurations in a safe environment first, and keep backups. See also our Disclaimer.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, OhSudo is not liable for any direct or indirect damage — such as data loss, downtime, security incidents or lost profits — that results from using, or not being able to use, the website, its content or its tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.
6. Links to other websites
We link to other websites (documentation, vendors, tools). We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
7. Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
9. Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
